The UMass Energy Transition Institute invites you to meet (virtually) Evan Michelson, a Program Director at the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation. Evan is responsible for overseeing the Foundation’s Energy and Environment program. Evan will present the broader energy and environment philanthropic landscape, discuss how to think about approaching proposals for Sloan, and points to keep in mind. Evan is interested in learning your views on important, emerging research topics and questions related to energy system decarbonization. There will be ample time for Q&A. (Please note: Evan is very interested in your perspective on emerging topics, but has asked that attendees do not pitch him on specific proposal ideas for which they would like funding.)
